Extrinsic motivation

Extrinsic Motivation is the exact opposite. It is based on your desire to achieve a set goal because of the reward involved and not because you enjoy the challenge that goes with it. Depending upon the kind of person you are, you could be highly motivated from extrinsic motivation, intrinsic motivation, or both.
