Going camping

My son just told me that his whole class will be going on a camping trip next week. They will be going in batches in an rv. That is, their school has rented our a number of recreational vehicles for this purpose. It goes without saying that my son is extremely excited and almost jumping with joy. This is actually going to be the very first time that he will be staying away from home for so long (a whole week to be precise). His school teacher called me up today to inform me that I needed to buy a few camping items for my son before he goes. He will be needing those items there. His teacher told me that this is because most of the items are being provided by the school, but only those few items are not. Also, since it might get chilly at nights during this time of the year, his teacher advised me to pack a few sweaters and a jacket. They will be camping outdoors in tents so I will pack an extra blanket for him as well. I am absolutely positive that my son is going to really enjoy his camping trip.
