Shoes for the birthday girl

My niece turns 16 this Sunday and has been begging me to buy her a pair of new athletic shoes for her birthday. The reason being that she has just been selected on her school's track team. Obviously, she needs to have the best shoes possible so that she can perform to her optimum capacity. Good shoes also don't let your feet wear out easily and can also prevent injuries. I am totally in favor of this gift because I also want to give her something that she needs and would use. Even if she doesn't wear them for taking part in sports, she can wear them as daily wear anyway. However, having an extremely tight schedule, I didn't think I would be able to take the time to go to the market and buy her the shoes she wanted. Searching through the site, I found a pair of really nice Adidas shoes which I am sure she will love and have bought them. Now I just have to buy some nice wrapping paper and a ribbon for the box, and the gift is complete.
